This past weekend was Easter and Trey's 32nd birthday (it was on Easter). It was full of fun and celebrations.
On Saturday we went to our church's annual Easter BBQ and had a great time before the ran came in. Last year the event was completely rained out, so at least we got a few hours in this year before it started.
Sweet sisters waiting to get Ashton's face painted.
This sweet girl wanted a single flower.
Our good friends Kaine and Danielle were there with their little boy Collins who just so happens to LOVE Ashton and Kaylyn.
Collins had to give Ashton a kiss. He's so stinking cute!
Sweet friends.
Waiting for the egg hunt to start.
Ashton and her friend Madeline. They are in the same class at school.
Sweet Friends
(Ashton, Madeline and Bailey)
When the egg hunt started, Ashton was really excited, but then became a little overwhelmed with all of the people and wanted her YaYa to go with her. Kaylyn of course jumped right in and made it all better. Ashton is so lucky to have her as a big sister and I hope that they remain this close forever. Kaylyn absolutely adores her and she adores Kaylyn too!
I love how sweet Kaylyn is holding Ashton's hand.
After the egg hunt, the rain started coming down pretty hard so we decided to leave. We had yet to see the Easter Bunny, so that was our next stop.
This is the only picture that I got before the battery on my camera died (insert sad face).
Delaney's 1st visit with the Easter Bunny.
(this is a picture of a picture)
And I was able to get this cute one of Delaney by herself on my phone. I don't think she had any clue who or what was holding her, but she didn't cry so that was good.
The next day was Easter and Trey's birthday.
Our sweet girls.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY daddy!
Easter baskets.
Ashton is really into rhyming words right now, so her favorite thing was her new Rhyming Bible.
Me and my two littlest girls.
(Kaylyn had to leave for a few hours and we didn't get a picture beforehand)
Delaney's 1st Easter and her first time celebrating her daddy's birthday.
She didn't know what to think about her Easter basket.
And look at that sweet girl sitting up! She's been practicing.
Kaylyn LOVES Reese's peanut butter eggs and Ritter Sport milk chocolate, so she had lots of that in her basket.
Delaney with her new Sunday Bunny book.
After church, my dad took us out to lunch to celebrate Trey's birthday and then we saw Trey's parents for a little while before heading home. The afternoon was nice and laid back and include a trip to Home Depot to buy new plants for the front of the house. Once Kaylyn got home, we celebrated again and let daddy open his present.
Delaney & Daddy
Ashton had to make her own card.
And she and YaYa made one from all of the girls.
He wanted a pull-up bar, so that's what he got...
One last picture of daddy and his girls on his birthday.
Happy 32nd! We love you!!!
