Christmas 2014

Our Christmas was extra special this year with the addition of our newest little blessing, Delaney.

Christmas Eve night she was sleeping so peacefully and I just had to have a picture of her in front of the tree. It turned out perfect and I'm sure it is one that I will treasure for years to come.

Precious baby!

Santa came and the biggest gift was Ashton's new bike.

This sweet girl was so happy! When she woke up, she ran into our room to let me know that Santa had brought her a new bike and she was super excited to try it out.

Mommy and her littlest girls.
(Kaylyn wasn't with us Christmas morning...insert BIG sad face, but came home later in the day)

I love this picture of my sweet Ashton. She was more excited to hold Delaney in front of the tree than anything else. She is so proud of her baby sister.

She had to try it out again...

After Grandma and Boppa's, we headed back home to be there when YaYa arrived.

Ashton couldn't wait to open presents.

Opening stockings.

Ashton had already determined her wrapping paper and started opening gifts...

Ashton got a tent, sleeping bag and a flashlight.

Kaylyn got some new shirts to wear with leggings. Thank you Nite Owl Productions! She loves them.

Ashton LOVES to read and got some new books.

I love the excitement on her face!

Kaylyn also got some new perfume.

Both girls wanted footed pj's...

This picture may not be the best, but to me it is so very special. Last year I bought us all new stockings and it was right after I lost the second baby. I was healing from surgery and having blood draws weekly because of the molar pregnancy. Although there were many times that I was sad, I was still full of hope that we would have another baby. And even though I thought people may think I was crazy, I bought a 5th stocking (I didn't even tell Trey). Here we are a year later and we have our sweet little Delaney who has a stocking to match everyone else. God is so good!!!

Delaney got some new bows that are too cute.

She also got a few classic toys that I love!

Sweet girl.

Our little reader.

Our girls.

Daddy got a new growler.

Ashton was dying to try out her new tent.

And it's big enough that YaYa fit too...

I always feel like we never get a good family picture. I was determined to figure out the self timer on the camera (who knows why I didn't do it before) and it ended up being really easy. We sat two chairs on top of each other with the camera on top and got the best picture.

Our first Christmas as a family of 5!

Our sweet friends, the Kervin's sent the girls the most precious gift. I knew what it was, but they didn't and they were so excited to open it.

How sweet is this!?! It's a ruler that you hang on the wall to track the girls growth over the years. It's already got a spot on the wall and I cannot wait to see all of the marks to come.

(heights in picture are not accurate as the ruler needs to be hung 6 inches off of the ground)

On Christmas night Ashton wanted to sleep in the tent in her room. YaYa being a good sport, went along with it. They didn't end up making it very long, but they did the next night once they made it more comfortable.

The day after Christmas, we headed to my dad's to do Christmas with PawPaw, MeeMee, my brother and sister in law and 3 of our nephews.

It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast running around playing with each other.

Sweet girl!

Ashton opening her present from MeeMee with a little help from YaYa.

It was a Frozen four wheeler and she loved it!

Kaylyn got some new Uggs from MeeMee.

Kellan opening his present.

And Kolby opening his.

My handsome nephew Kaden.

Kaylyn got iTunes gift cards which are always a big hit.

MeeMee's new pot holders that were Ashton's artwork from school.

One of Ashton's gifts from PawPaw were some cool Frozen headphones.

PawPaw got the boys John Deer tractors.

All of the kids.
Kellan (3), Kolby (3), Ashton (4), Kaden (11), Kaylyn (11) and Delaney (2 months)

And to end our awesome day at dad's, we had to get a picture of him and the kids.

Looking back over the last year, our family has been through so much. It started out rough, but we remained faithful and hopeful and it ended great! We had a wonderful Christmas with family and were so excited to celebrate the season with our precious Delaney.

We hope you had a great Christmas too!
