Quick Trip...

I feel so bad that I haven't done a post lately, but it isn't because we're not doing things...I've just been really busy. Now is my time to get caught up.

This past Saturday we made a quick trip to Valdosta to spend the day at Wild Adventures. It was an absolutely perfect day and the weather could not have been any better. It was just the four of us and it was really nice to spend time together and it be just our little family.

Me & Ashton
(this little stinker will rarely look and smile at the camera anymore)

The two of us rode the little ride that spins around and you have the ability to make it spin even faster...I think she was getting dizzy.

Us girls...

Now it's every one's turn to ride the spin thing...

Silly faces!

Family

We were going pretty fast at this point.

Standing in the trees while daddy and YaYa feed the birds.

Ashton loves this ride and Kaylyn loves to ride it with her. The only bad part is that I have to ride it too since Kaylyn is not 16.

They are both so happy!

I love when they are looking at each other...it's one of the sweetest things ever!!!

I look forward to many more quick trips!

Gymnastics For Both Girls

September 18th was a day that I waited for every since I found out I was having another girl! Not only did gymnastics for the Fall start for Kaylyn, but it was the first time ever that Ashton took a class. To say that I was excited about it is an understatement. I've always loved taking Kaylyn to dance or gymnastics and to be able to start this adventure with Ashton was great. I look forward to the many memories that I can share with both of my precious daughters doing the things that they love!

YaYa walking Ashton in for her first day of gymnastics.

Ashton waiting for her class to start.
(Kaylyn and Ashton's classes start at the same time, so I go in with Ashton and when her class is over, we watch Kaylyn for the rest of the time)

I LOVE those BIG brown eyes!

This was the second time going to gymnastics for Ashton. They were both so excited.

Ashton sitting on her spot for warm ups.

Hanging like a monkey and LOVING every minute of it...

She was trying to make sure her coach was watching in this one. The whole class she is constantly saying "watch Coach Jo, watch."

We've had a great first two weeks and I cannot wait to see how the rest of the Fall session goes.

Ashton's 2nd Birthday - August 30, 2012

For Ashton's birthday, I had a BIG day planned. Even though we had already celebrated, I knew I had to make the actual day just as special! We had a day filled with fun and friends and it couldn't have been better.

The Birthday Girl

Birthday kisses from her daddy!

Ashton & her YaYa

Opening a few presents before YaYa left for school and daddy left for work...

For lunch, we met friends at Chick-fil-A. It was really special to have Sarah & Steve, Brooke and Becca bring Ashton's little friends to celebrate. THANK YOU guys so much!!!

After eating, this kids had fun in the play area.

Handsome Mr. Fletcher...he is absolutely the cutest!

Bennett & Claire (or "baby" as Ashton calls her)

After playing, we all went to Lake Ella to enjoy snow cones at Big Easy Snowballs (our FAVORITE place) and to let the kids run around. The kids along with the moms enjoyed the snow cones and it was a great way to end our time with friends!

I LOVE this picture...they are so cute!

Becca and Fletcher
(Fletcher really enjoyed his snow cone and he was fascinated that it turned Becca's lips blue)

Ryan, Sarah and Claire
(Claire kept pointing out that someone dropped some on the ground)

Brooke and Becca

Ryan giving Ashton her birthday hug to end our afternoon...so sweet!

Later that day, it was time for the birthday girl to open some more presents.

She loved her new dress up outfit.

However, she wasn't so sure about her new "puppy"...

Her last gift to open...

Ashton an her new Thirty-One bag.
(Aunt Denise will get a kick out of this...she finally grew into her birthday shirt from last year)

Her daddy brought her home a wonderful surprise! We even put a candle on it so she could blow it out.

She really enjoyed it!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY to the cutest, sweetest, little "beast" around! We love you more than you will ever know and look forward to many more birthday's with you.
