This past weekend, we celebrated our little girl turning 4. It started on Friday (the day before her birthday) with a celebration at school. Trey and I took in cookies and juice boxes for the kids and they were all so cute and appreciative. They told me over and over again that I brought the best cookies EVER, but I was nice and gave Publix the credit they deserved.
Mrs. Susan read the class the Birthday book that they all made. It was so sweet and each little kid drew a picture to tell what they loved about Ashton.
I adore that little smirk...
All of the girls enjoying their treat.
And the boys too.
Trey and I with the class.
(and I'm 31 weeks...woohoo)

The next day (Ashton's actual birthday) we celebrated at Winthrop Park with family and friends. It was a little hectic & hot, but full of fun. And our little girl had a blast which is all that matters!
On a side note, I must say that I never understood why parents would hire a photographer for birthday parties, but seeing the amount of pictures that I did get and the lack there of, it totally makes sense.
Before things got crazy, here are the pictures I snapped...
Happy 4th Birthday Ashton!
Ashton and PawPaw
(and THANK YOU dad for getting to the park at 7:00 am just to make sure we got the pavilion)
PawPaw with both of his girls!
A little playground action before things got too busy...
And there's always time for food...
Ashton couldn't decide on one princess or one theme, so we did a couple of them for her cake. It was made by someone local who had done a few cakes for friends and I LOVED it!
So pretty and delicious!!!
Our sweet girl getting ready to blow out the candles...
She tried...
and tried...
and tried.
(in the end, I think her YaYa or her daddy actually blew them out)
It was so hot to expect little ones to sit around while Ashton opened all of the presents, but she did get into a few before the party was over.
Her Hello Kitty from Uncle Lucas, Aunt Kim, Kaden, Kellan and Kolby.
Her new scooter that she loved from Boppa and Grandma.
And even a Cinderella Carriage from MeeMee...
By the look on her face, I knew she knew what this was...
Her new LeapPad Ultra from PawPaw.
She got some Frozen stuff from the Damm's that she loves!
And a cool new learning book from Aunt Darla, Crews and Jay Chase.
Along with a ton more awesome presents that we opened at the house.
Notice her new clip on earrings from the Austin's that she wears all of the time now...
A BIG thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our sweet girl! I didn't get to talk much and I may have missed you in the pictures, but you are truly appreciated. Thank you for loving Ashton as much as we do and for being a part of her life!
Cassie I cannot believe she is already 4 years old. Both of your girls are just beautiful and I am so glad to see your happy family. Best wishes to you all and the upcoming baby.
