Kaylyn's 5th Grade Field Day

I'm a little late on this post (a month late to be exact), but my favor motto is slowly becoming "better late, than never."

Back on March 14th, Kaylyn had her last field day as a student at Hawks Rise (insert tears). I had another appointment that day, but cancelled so that I wouldn't miss this fun event. I love watching the kids have fun and boy are there some fierce competitors!

Round 1 of Tug of War

I'm not sure the official name, but this is just a sprint to see who is the fastest...it wasn't Kaylyn, but she had fun anyway...

It was down to the last girls and Kaylyn was still going strong.

She ended up getting 1st place out of all of the 5th grade girls...woohoo!

It was hard to get a ton of pictures, but Kaylyn ended up in 3rd place.

Not only does Ashton love her YaYa, but she also loves Kaylyn's best friend Kathleen.

We had a few more rounds of tug of war to see which class was the winner. It didn't end up being Kaylyn's class, but look at the determination on their faces. They did awesome!

What a great way to spend Kaylyn's last field day at Hawks Rise. She came in 1st place in one event, 3rd place in another and had a great time with all of her friends making memories that will last a lifetime!
