Snow Day

January 29, 2014 was a first for us Floridians. We had a "snow" day, but it should've been named an "ice" day as that is all there was. 

Tuesday the girls went to bed with the excitement of the possibility of snow. I promised them that if it snowed during the night that I would wake them to see it. Needless to say, there wasn't much to wake them up for and definitely not any snow. 

The next morning, they were very disappointed and not at all excited about the ice until I gathered enough of it to throw at the window where they were sitting in the house.

What started out as not much fun ended up being something I will always remember. Maybe one day though, we will have a true snow day...
