Our Family

We've wanted to start a blog for our family for a while, but deciding on the name for it has been quite a delimma.  After going back & forth, we finally decided on "Happily Chaotic" (taken from Soleil Moon Frye's book, Happy Chaos).  It describes our little family perfectly...full of chaos, but HAPPY!  Our first blog post is going to be strictly about us.

THE DAD - Trey 

The hardest working husband and father! He works at First American Title during the day and at the Dirks house at night.  On his spare time he enjoys watching sports, playing golf, cooking and playing tennis.  He gives 110% at all he does and to everything that is a part of his life!

THE MOM - Cassie

I am the stay at home mom of two of the most precious little girls on the planet and a wife to the most amazing husband.  A year ago when I had Ashton, Trey made all of my dreams come true by allowing me to stay home.  It has been the hardest job I've ever had, but I wouldn't trade one minute of it!  I am truly blessed!!!

BIG SISTER - Kaylyn

Sassy, smart, beautiful & talented are all words to describe Kaylyn.  She is the sweetest little 3rd grade girl and has a heart of gold!  She gets all A's in school and is definitely a leader, not a follower.  She loves her family (especially her little sister), reading books, singing, dancing and horses.

LITTLE SISTER - Ashton

Tiny, strong willed, sweet, loving & absolutely adorable are the words I would use to describe the smallest member of our family.  She is super small for 13 months old (only about 16lbs), but don't let her size fool you!  The saying BIG things come in small packages fits Ashton to a tee.  She loves her mommy, daddy & big sister more than any amount of cheerios!!!

I hope everyone enjoys our blog.  This is the beginning of what is to come.  We are excited as a family (especially Kaylyn) to be able to share a little bit of our lives and look forward to the day that we look back on these moments and SMILE!
