Our sweet girl turned four months old last Tuesday and it's crazy how fast time is going by. It seems like just yesterday I was still pregnant and dreaming of the day that we'd meet her.
All About You Delaney Lou...
You had your 4 month doctor appointment on Friday, February 20th and you weighed 13 pounds 9 ounces and were 24 3/4 inches long. You are in the 45% for your weight and the 60% for your height.
You weren't in size 1 diapers for very long and are already in size 2.
You are in 3-6 month clothes and really need the 6 month in pants for the length.
You're eyes are still kind of gray.
You don't have a ton of hair, but it's definitely growing and you're starting to get more of it. It looks different colors at different times. Sometimes it looks brown, but in the sunlight it looks light and has some light shades of red in it. I guess we'll continue to wait and see.
You're not rolling over yet, but you sure are trying to. You try your hardest to roll from your back to your tummy.
Even though you're not rolling, it doesn't mean you don't move. You spin yourself in circles all over the floor.
You love looking at the TV.
You have the heartiest laugh and I LOVE it! Your sisters can really make you giggle.
Sleep...well, let's just say it hasn't been great these past few weeks, but the last few days haven't been as bad. Maybe you're about to hit a milestone!?!
You still love being swaddled at night. I tried not to once and you weren't very happy.
You love grabbing your toys that hang on your play mat.
You put EVERYTHING in your mouth and you love chewing fingers, no matter if they're yours or not.
You love kicking your legs in the water during your bath and it's so cute.
You love pulling hair and lucky for you between me, your YaYa and Ashton, you have lots to pull.
You smile constantly.
You love to be held and faced outward so that you can see what's going on.
You're always wanting to "stand" or sit in an upright position.
You don't like being left alone and are happiest when you can see someone.
Last month when I said you'd definitely found your voice, I was wrong. You truly found your voice this month. You absolutely love being talked to and "talking" back. Your PawPaw gets the biggest kick out of you and I talking back and forth to each other. And it really is pretty cute!
Here's a link to a video of you "talking"...
Delaney Lou you continue to bring so much happiness to our family and everyone that is around you. You put a smile on everyone's face and are such a blessing. While you are growing so fast and it kills me, I love seeing all of your changes and your BIG personality shining through. As a mom, you always wonder how you will love another child as much as you do the first or second, but I love you so much and I thank God for letting me be your mommy each and every day!
