Delaney's Baby Shower

On September 21st, I was given a baby shower by some of my dear friends. It was a day full of happiness & joy and was more than I could have ever imagined or asked for!

(on a side note, I have some of the most crafty and talented friends around...if only they would rub a little bit of it off on me)

Sarah made all of these for Delaney and I love them!

There was a ton of great food, but these are what I requested. Sausage balls are my favorite and they are definitely a pregnancy craving.

Sweet treats made by Tia for Thank You gifts.

My friend Megan gave the "cake lady" a picture of my invite and the cake turned out beautiful & delicious!

34 weeks and 2 days of pure happiness!

Not only did Delaney get gifts, but my sweet friend Brooke J. made sure to include Kaylyn and Ashton too. I didn't get a picture of Kaylyn's gift, but it was a cute silver bracelet.

This little stinker is so excited about being a BIG sister. And I know she's going to be a great one!

Delaney's beautiful frame...

Aunt Tia made all of these for Delaney. The blanket, wipe container, taggie blanket and all of the burp cloths.

I found a sweet lady named Sara (SewSara) on Facebook and knew that Delaney had to have one of her blankets. Grandma and Boppa made sure that she got it.

Thank you Amy, Kristin and Stephanie for Delaney's beautiful monogram for her nursery wall!

So thankful for all of my sweet friends along with Delaney's Grandma, MeeMee and Aunt Nicole. I am sorry for those that had already left and are not pictured, but I am grateful to have each and every one of you in my life.

Love these ladies!

My friend Lindsay brought her family up for the weekend so that she could be here to celebrate with me. Not only do I love her, but her husband Andrew and baby Max too! We were so happy to have them staying with us.

This day wouldn't have been complete without having my girls to celebrate with me. They have been such a huge part of everything for the past year and they are so excited to finally meet their little sister when she gets here!

And to these awesome ladies who went above and beyond to make my day special...you will never know how much you mean to me! Every last detail was perfect and I truly cannot THANK YOU enough!!!

I read something recently that said "If you have one true friend you have more than your share." I definitely have more than my share and more than I deserve.

Sarah, Tia, Megan, Stephanie, Me, Amy & Kristin

Thank you to everyone for helping celebrate this sweet little blessing from above! I've said it time and time again, but Delaney is already so loved!

Ashton's 4th Birthday

This past weekend, we celebrated our little girl turning 4. It started on Friday (the day before her birthday) with a celebration at school. Trey and I took in cookies and juice boxes for the kids and they were all so cute and appreciative. They told me over and over again that I brought the best cookies EVER, but I was nice and gave Publix the credit they deserved.

Mrs. Susan read the class the Birthday book that they all made. It was so sweet and each little kid drew a picture to tell what they loved about Ashton.

I adore that little smirk...

All of the girls enjoying their treat.

And the boys too.

Trey and I with the class.
(and I'm 31 weeks...woohoo)

The next day (Ashton's actual birthday) we celebrated at Winthrop Park with family and friends. It was a little hectic & hot, but full of fun. And our little girl had a blast which is all that matters!

On a side note, I must say that I never understood why parents would hire a photographer for birthday parties, but seeing the amount of pictures that I did get and the lack there of, it totally makes sense.

Before things got crazy, here are the pictures I snapped...

Happy 4th Birthday Ashton!

Ashton and PawPaw
(and THANK YOU dad for getting to the park at 7:00 am just to make sure we got the pavilion)

PawPaw with both of his girls!

A little playground action before things got too busy...

And there's always time for food...

Ashton couldn't decide on one princess or one theme, so we did a couple of them for her cake. It was made by someone local who had done a few cakes for friends and I LOVED it!

So pretty and delicious!!!

Our sweet girl getting ready to blow out the candles...

She tried...

and tried...

  and tried.
(in the end, I think her YaYa or her daddy actually blew them out)

It was so hot to expect little ones to sit around while Ashton opened all of the presents, but she did get into a few before the party was over.

Her Hello Kitty from Uncle Lucas, Aunt Kim, Kaden, Kellan and Kolby.

Her new scooter that she loved from Boppa and Grandma.

And even a Cinderella Carriage from MeeMee...

By the look on her face, I knew she knew what this was...

Her new LeapPad Ultra from PawPaw.

She got some Frozen stuff from the Damm's that she loves!

And a cool new learning book from Aunt Darla, Crews and Jay Chase.

Along with a ton more awesome presents that we opened at the house.

Notice her new clip on earrings from the Austin's that she wears all of the time now...

A BIG thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our sweet girl! I didn't get to talk much and I may have missed you in the pictures, but you are truly appreciated. Thank you for loving Ashton as much as we do and for being a part of her life!
