Aunt Louise's Farm

Last weekend, Trey and I took the girls to Aunt Louise's Farm. It was a toss up between there and Rocky Comfort Farms, but I had heard great things about Aunt Louise's.

The first thing we did when we got there was the Corn Maze. We let Kaylyn lead the way and she had so much fun trying to get us to the end...or maybe she was trying to get us lost!?! Either way, we had fun finding our way out.

Here we go...

I think we were good and lost by this point...

There's always time to take a picture though.

Ashton would cheat and run through the row of corn instead of on the path.

We could see the end.

Next up was the barrel ride. The girls have rode one of these before, but it was in 2011. I knew I had a picture from then and had to find it. I cannot believe how much they have grown!

Kaylyn and Ashton - 2011

Kaylyn and Ashton - 2013

Such sweet sisters!

It's not a farm without animals...

Kaylyn loved the bunnies! I think she went back at least 4 times to hold them.

If you know Ashton, you know that she is terrified of anything that moves and isn't human. She would look from a distant, but didn't want anything to do with them. Standing behind her YaYa was right where she wanted to be.

Close, but not too close...

Daddy held her to look at the Zebu.

And when she thought he was getting too close, she tried to climb up him...

The last thing the girls did was play in the corn pit. They had so much fun being buried in it, scooping it up and throwing it everywhere. Afterwards I found corn throughout the house for days.

Ashton even got to enjoy her snow cone while playing in it. I think Kaylyn was taking a nap.

Aunt Louise's Farm was so much fun! If you haven't been, you should definitely head to the tiny (and I mean tiny) little town of Waukeenah and check it out. We will definitely be back next year. Oh and by the way, you should buy some of the homemade peach jam if you go...it's delicious!
