This past Sunday, Trey and I along with Ashton and Geoff spent the day with Naveen and Lohith who are here for work from India. Naveen and Lohith work at First American as part of the offshore team and they used to work close with Trey before he moved to his current position. Geoff had already planned on taking them to see the Tallahassee Museum and he invited us to go too.
The Museum's Guest Animal - the Bengal Tiger
The Bald Eagle
Looking at the owl...
White-tailed Deer
The red wolves didn't want to come out at first, but they eventually started walking around.
The Florida Panther
Checking out the American Alligator.
This is the first time I've seen the fox on the ground and I definitely like it better than it normally being in the trees.
I remember when this was all water...
Learning about the owl.
Snakes
Lohith with the owl.
Ashton liked looking at the cows.
The Herb Garden
Geoff caught me taking the picture and decided to pose.

Lohith & Ashton
Trey, Lohith, Naveen & Geoff
Ashton and I had to join in too...
Our next stop for the day was Wakulla Springs. We decided that it would be fun to take the boat ride to see the alligators and manatees.
We had a longer than expected wait for the boat ride, so Trey and Naveen tried to catch the little fish in the water. They did not succeed.
The High Dive
(and yes, there were actually people jumping in and swimming in the freezing cold water)
There was an alligator across the way that Naveen and Lohith were trying to look at.
Boat Ride
I was trying to get them with the alligator in the background. Look close and you will see it.
Ashton enjoyed the boat ride, but really liked eating her snack the most!
Stopping to smell the flowers...
Wakulla Springs was a great way to spend the afternoon.
