Breakfast With Santa

This past weekend, we took the girls to have breakfast with Santa at Saint Paul's (my MOPS church) and it will definitely become a yearly tradition. There were volunteers from the church that cooked pancakes and bacon for everyone that attended and the kids got to sit with Santa and have their picture taken. For the church to do this is such a great thing and we really enjoyed it!

On the way to the church Kaylyn insisted that she did not want to sit in Santa's lap and I wasn't sure how Ashton would be. Once we ate breakfast and waited in line, it was our turn and we quickly realized that Ashton was going to have no part in sitting in the bearded man's lap. I wasn't sure what to do, so in the end Kaylyn had to sit in his lap so that we could sit Ashton on her lap. She is such a sweet big sister.

The first picture and you can tell that Ashton is not enjoying herself.

At least Kaylyn is smiling...

When we got up to walk away, Santa grabbed Kaylyn for her to sit in his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. She was not very happy about this especially since she'd already said that she did not want to sit in his lap, but she was a trooper and went along with it anyway.

Family shots where we are all looking are almost impossible, but at least we have this to remember our first "Breakfast With Santa".

So sweet!
