BLESSED - Christmas 2012

It seems like so much leads up to Christmas and then it's over before you know it. Our day was an amazing day filled with fun and family and we are so blessed that we couldn't ask for anything more!!!

Playing with Boppa's low rider.

Ashton using her new chair from Aunt Darla, Crews and Jay Chase.

Darla and Trey both got new shoes.

Ashton was curious as to what Jay Chase was opening.

Boppa and the little ones.

Grandma got a charm for her new Pandora bracelet.

Trey's custom made train to hold his latest brew in for his dad.

The "Porter" Express

Jay Chase and Ashton in their fort under the table...they were so cute!

The best part of the day...YaYa is home!

Ashton throws a fit for this thing every time we are in Walmart. It was in her stocking and after she found it, she could have cared less about anything else. In the end, she didn't even open all of her presents and Kaylyn had to do it later that night.

Dunkin Donuts...Kaylyn's favorite place!

YaYa needed a head massage.

So excited for her new shoes.

Kaylyn had been asking for this purse since the day she saw it. I promised that she would at least get it for her birthday, so she was even more excited to get it for Christmas.

Me & my new shoes...

She decided to open a few more...

Daddy's turn.

Trey demoed this racket months before and never thought he would get it. I was so excited for him to open it!

MeeMee with her gift from us.

PawPaw asked for a new shirt...ask and you shall receive.

Kaylyn with her new books from MeeMee.

MeeMee got Ashton her 1st Cabbage Patch doll.

After months and years of asking, this was the year for Kaylyn to get a cell phone (I didn't get it for her, but PawPaw did...and yes, he asked first). It was wrapped and under the tree and my dad called it so that it would ring. At first Kaylyn just thought it was one of Ashton's toys, but once she realized it was a phone in wrapping paper, she was over the moon excited!

She was so excited that she tackled PawPaw.

Dad made her the happiest little girl ever! And it's a prepaid phone, so she completely understands that she has to be responsible about using her minutes.

Kaylyn's new slippers from Mr. Paul and Mrs. Viza...I don't think she's taken them off since Christmas. She LOVES them, but they fit my feet, so she better watch out!

I absolutely love this! Ashton most of the time refuses to take pictures, but say that it is for PawPaw and she's all for it.

Grandma Lottie

On Monday night, we had Trey's mom and Grandma Lottie over for dinner. Lottie was staying at Trey's parents house and we wanted to spend some time with her. She is 95 years old (she will be 96 in February) and such an amazing woman! I love that the girls are able to know their Great Grandma and to see her with them makes me so happy.

Cheers! They were trying Trey's latest batch of beer.

Ashton & Grandma

Ashton was tickling Grandma Lottie.

She thought it was so funny!
