Memorial Day Weekend Fun!

For Memorial Day we decided to go to Valdosta for the weekend to Aunt Harriett's house. She so graciously welcomed us even after our last visit when Kaylyn had strep and mono and Ashton had an ear infection. I think she may like us a little!

We knew that we were going ahead of time, so Aunt Harriett was able to get her granddaughter Emma for the weekend to share in our fun. She is two years older than Kaylyn, but they get along really well and she is great with Ashton too. We went to Wild Adventures on Saturday and Sunday and spent most of our time at the water park, but we were also able to ride the rides in the afternoon.  

I feel like I am always apologizing for not taking pictures, but I promise that one day I will get better...because I want & need to. Below are some shots that I got.

Even though it was incredibly HOT all weekend, we all had a good time! 

My last picture for this post is of Kaylyn, Ashton, Emma and Breanna (Emma's older sister). Breanna surprised us with a visit on Sunday night and stuck around to hangout and play with the younger girls. It was so cute to see all of them together and it was an eye opener for what Trey and I have ahead of us when it comes to teenage girls.

We had an amazing weekend and we cannot wait to visit with Aunt Harriett again!
