Kaylyn Goes To Colorado

On Thursday, Kaylyn left for Colorado with Boppa, Grandma and Crews to see Uncle Don, Aunt Denise, Sydney, Lauren and Taylor. To say that Kaylyn was excited was an understatement. She had looked forward to this day for a while and couldn't believe it was finally here. We packed her bag and double and triple checked to make sure she had everything, then we headed to the airport.

(Grandma's leg is doing better, but she still needs to rest it some...this is why she is in a wheelchair)

They were both so excited!

At this point, it was time to say bye. Kaylyn told me that she loved me a million times walking through this line and boy did it make my heart feel good!

I've already received numerous pictures from all of the fun things they are doing. Uncle Don and Aunt Denise definitely planned a great trip!!! I cannot wait for Kaylyn to get home and tell me all about it.

Mamas & Babies At The Beach

A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine, Kelley asked if Ashton and I would go to the beach with she and her little girl Lyla. Trey was out of town for work and Kaylyn was gone for the week, so it was perfect timing! Kelley's parents have a beach house on St. George Island and they were so sweet to allow us to go down for a few days.

I only took pictures with my camera the first night we were there, and I just had to share the ones that I got.
(I cannot believe I forgot to do this sooner, but things have been crazy around the Dirks house)

I didn't get any pictures of the mamas, but I did get the cutest ones of our girls!

Ashton and Lyla were so cute following each other.

Ashton loved the water!

Miss Lyla and her sweet smile!

Kelley and I really enjoyed being able to watch our sweet girls play with each other. Having friends is so important for us mamas and for our babies!

I hate that I didn't get more pictures with my camera, but I'm glad that I at least got a few. We all had such a great time playing in the sand, swimming in the ocean and the pool, eating together and enjoying each others company.

A BIG thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Woodall who made our trip possible!
