Christmas - 2011

Christmas for us was great!  We only had Kaylyn until 1:00, but we made every minute count!!!  My mom came over the night before so that she could be with us Christmas morning.  The girls woke up around 7:00 and seeing the look of excitement on Kaylyn's face as she realized that Santa left her a bike was priceless.  Ashton on the other hand, didn't really know why there were toys under our tree that hadn't been there before.

After spending time together at our house we left for Trey's parents so that everyone was able to spend time with Kaylyn.  It was Paul & Viza, Darla and the boys and then us and my mom.  We opened presents again and then enjoyed a wonderful brunch that Trey's mom prepared.

Below are pictures from our house on Christmas morning*.  I don't know how it happened, but I didn't get one picture from Trey's parents of anyone opening presents (I don't know if I was just in a hurry to get everything done before our 1:00 deadline for Kaylyn or what, but I don't have any).

*This was actually Christmas Eve.  Kaylyn had to open her and Ashton's present from MeeMee...it had been tempting her for too long :)  I didn't get pictures of Ashton, so I will post some later.

Christmas morning...

These are my favorite gifts that the girls got.  When I'm finished with them, they will have a years worth of what "I Like" about them.  You can always tell them, but for it to be in writing and something they will always have is perfect!

Ashton got treats from Nana and had to take a break to enjoy them!

Kaylyn LOVES horses!

Christmas Eve- 2011

As usual, Christmas Eve for us was wonderful and a great time with family!  We celebrated at Lucas and Kim's house with my dad and it was very simple (just the way I like it).  We had steak with all of the fixings for lunch and then we enjoyed spending time with each other and watching the kids open all of their gifts.  The big kids (Kaylyn and Kaden) were so excited to open their presents and the little ones (Ashton, Kellan and Kolby) really didn't know what was going on!

Kaylyn got feather extensions for her hair, 2 books, a Kindle Fire and a Kindle Fire case from PaPa.  She was so excited...it shows on her face!

HUGE hug for PaPa!

She also got new pj's and a journal from Aunt Kim, Uncle Lucas and all of the boys...

Kaden got a ton of presents too!  He got a 3DS, a 3DS case, a 3DS game & books from PaPa and then a 3DS game and books from all of us.

I LOVE this face...he was so excited!!!

More BIG hugs for PaPa!

Kaden with all of his 3DS stuff...

Ashton made out well too.  I don't have pictures of everything, but she got new earrings, a Little People plane, a Teddy Bear that she can play doctor with, a First Words book and a Cozy Coupe...pink of course!

Opening her presents like a pro...

Before & After Aunt Kim & Daddy put it together...

Watching to make sure she doesn't run anyone over...

And of course Kellan and Kolby had to have presents too!  They got gift cards & a piggy bank (shaped like a globe) from PaPa and then we got them each a Sophie Giraffe and a Blue Seahorse (they love Ashton's pink one at my house, so I figured they needed their own boy one at their house).

Lucas and Kim opening the boys presents...

With their presents from Aunt Cassie, Uncle Trey, Kaylyn & Ashton

The kids weren't the only ones to get presents, the adults did too!  I don't have any pictures of Trey or myself (like normal), but I got a Teddy Bear charm for my Pandora bracelet from the boys and Trey and I got year passes to Wild Adventures from my dad.

Dad got a turkey fryer (it boils things too)...

Lucas and Kim got a new computer monitor...

It was so good being able to spend time together and enjoy the excitement of the kids!  It was even better with Ashton being able to participate more this year and the addition of the twins to our family.  We couldn't be more blessed than what we are.
